What is a Growth
Assessment?
At Impact Orthodontics, we perform complimentary growth assessments to monitor the health and progression of your child’s teeth. If we suspect your child will need treatment after the first few visits, we will monitor them every 6-12 months with quick check-ins. If everything is growing normally, we’ll reevaluate when all of your child’s adult teeth come in. We’re excited to get to know you and your family and help your children grow happy and radiant smiles.
Information
Regular Monitoring
Quick check-ups every 6-12 months are completed by one of our orthodontists to evaluate whether everything is growing normally and identify any potential issues that may need to be addressed before the grown-up teeth are in. Not all children require orthodontic treatment before they are teenagers, and some may never need it.
Specialist Supervision
All children should see an orthodontist by the age of 7. Here at Impact Orthodontics, the majority of our “under 10” crowd are put into our completely FREE growth development monitoring program. Not all small children require orthodontics, and some may never need treatment after we have watched them grow.
Planning Ahead
The great thing about this program is that you, the parents, will have many opportunities to speak to an orthodontist about your child’s teeth, smile, and bite before any treatment commences. You will be informed of the perfect timing for treatment should it be required, and you will know all costs ahead of time so that you can plan insurance and/or HSAs accordingly.
