Bring Your Teeth In
For An Alignment
Problems with your bite can present as an underbite, overbite or crossbite and can cause enamel wear, muscle tension and grinding. An uneven bite can also contribute to issues with eating, sleeping, talking, and breathing. While there may be a variety of causes of a misaligned bite, you can count on us for a bite correction through orthodontic treatment.
Associated Concerns
Ability to Eat
An incorrect bite can impact the way you eat and speak. If you experience difficulty chewing, discomfort when biting together or you frequently bite your tongue or cheek, you may require a bite correction.
Smile Aesthetics
Your bite can significantly impact the appearance of your smile. Depending on the severity of the issues, an incorrect bite may manifest through crooked or crowded teeth, an overbite, underbite, crossbite or even a change in facial appearance.
Grinding
Grinding can occasionally present as a symptom of an incorrect bite. Grinding is something we do want to address as it can significantly wear down your teeth in certain places and may increase the risk of headaches or TMJ pain.
Invisalign
Invisalign is widely accepted as a superior treatment for a misaligned jaw. As the Invisalign aligners gently guide the teeth into place, the effects can be felt in the jaw, improving the overall bite and jaw function.

We Care About Your Kids Like Our Own
Like crowded teeth, the treatment for an incorrect bite varies based on the severity of the problem. Most commonly, we use elastics with Invisalign as an effective treatment. In some cases, we may provide a referral for orthognathic surgery.
The #1 indication of an incorrect bite is uneven enamel wear. Other signs include jaw popping or locking, a gummy smile, difficulty speaking, and misaligned teeth.
